Requirements
- Meets all state required regulations to practice in the dialysis setting
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) with a specialization in clinical practice
- Demonstrated knowledge of government and private insurance programs
- Basic computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Functional proficiency with DaVita specific applications within 60 days
Responsibilities
- Support and advocate for patients
- Help patients understand their rights and responsibilities
- Guide patients in managing the physical, mental, emotional, and financial demands of End Stage Renal Disease
- Commit to improving patient health through clinical goal-setting and quality improvement initiatives
