About The Position

This is a full-time Social Worker position with AAMC Community Health, working the first shift. The role requires a Master of Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program, or a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) with significant relevant experience. A minimum of two years of social work experience in a healthcare, hospital, or community health setting is preferred. Experience with geriatric populations, long-term care navigation, or community health access programs is strongly preferred. Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, PACE, and South Carolina assistance programs is highly desirable. The position requires a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in South Carolina at the time of hire, with a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) preferred. Supervision toward LISW is available for eligible candidates.

Requirements

• Minimum two (2) years of social work experience in a healthcare, hospital, or community health setting preferred.
• Experience with geriatric populations, long-term care navigation, or community health access programs strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, PACE, and South Carolina assistance programs highly desirable.
• Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of South Carolina in good standings, required at time of hire.
• Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) preferred; supervision toward LISW available if eligible.
