About The Position

Reporting to the Manager or designate, the incumbent will provide services to adults who are involved in Primary Health Care programming. The Social Worker - BSW provides services as a member of a multidisciplinary team. The incumbent will work collaboratively with community groups, agencies and other professionals within the community.

Requirements

• 1 year experience in Social Work
• Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• Basic - Computer skills
• Basic - Verbal communication skills
• Basic - Writing skills
• Basic - Communication skills
• Ability to work and communicate in a cross cultural setting
• Knowledge in development model of recovery (SMRS)
• Knowledge of Indigenous Culture and traditions
• Knowledge in community resources and services in the clinical area
• Knowledge in communication techniques and approaches
• Knowledge of current trends/issues/best practice strategies
• Knowledge in ethnic and cultural diversity
• Knowledge in program and community development process
• Ability to be flexible and willing to change
• Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW)

Nice To Haves

• Community nursing experience is an asset
