About The Position

Liquid Personnel has an excellent opportunity for a Social Worker to join a friendly and supportive Referral and Assessment Team in Kingston & Richmond, where you’ll make a real impact on children and families through timely assessments and effective intervention.

Requirements

• Social Work England registration
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Post-qualified experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Social Work

Responsibilities

• Receive and screen referrals from professionals, families, or the public.
• Conduct initial assessments to determine risk levels and service eligibility.
• Make decisions on whether cases require further intervention under Section 17 (Child in Need) or Section 47 (Child Protection).
• Undertake home visits and interviews with children and families.
• Liaise with police, schools, health services, and other agencies to gather information.
• Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for further action.
• Escalate cases to child protection teams when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure timely responses to referrals.
