About The Position
A facility near Indianola, Iowa, is seeking a Social Worker to join its behavioral health team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a Monday–Friday day shift schedule. The Social Worker will provide evidence-based mental health counseling, complete psychosocial assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans. The role also coordinates patient care with psychiatrists, interdisciplinary teams, and community agencies; maintains compliant EHR documentation; promotes patient safety and quality improvement; and supports staff education. The community offers a small-town atmosphere, outdoor recreation, local events, and convenient driving access to the greater Des Moines area.
Requirements
- Must have or be eligible to sit for LISW in the state of Iowa.
- Must have a master's degree or higher in social work.
Nice To Haves
- Previous outpatient or acute care experience preferred.
