Social Worker – Inpatient Psychiatric Unit (3RE) - Day Shift
About The Position
NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is hiring a Social Worker for its inpatient psychiatric unit. The role provides psychosocial services to patients and families, coordinates discharge planning and continuity of care, and helps patients enhance their ability to cope with illness and daily functioning. Social workers collaborate across research, education, and clinical practice in a department focused on patient outcomes. This is a full-time day-shift position, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with rotating weekend and holiday coverage. The stated salary range is $45.61–$61.08 per hour. Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW).
- New York State license as a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- Three years of experience or training in a hospital.
