Social Worker (MA/MSW)
About The Position
Clarion Psychiatric Center is currently recruiting for a Social Worker. The Social Worker provides clinical social work services in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Clarion Psychiatric Center and the NASW. The Social Worker is responsible for psychosocial assessments of the patient’s mental health; individual, group, and family therapy; active participation on the treatment team; lead role in the development of the master treatment plan; developing realistic and measurable short and long term goals; and assumes responsibility for coordinating with other agencies involved with the patient the discharge and continuing care plans.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree or above from an accredited college with a major in Social Work or related field required.
Nice To Haves
- LCSW or LSW preferred.
- At least one year of inpatient hospitalization work experience preferred.
Responsibilities

- Responsible for psychosocial assessments of the patient’s mental health.

- Actively participates on the treatment team.
- Takes a lead role in the development of the master treatment plan.

- Assumes responsibility for coordinating with other agencies involved with the patient the discharge and continuing care plans.
