About The Position
Lyngblomsten Care Center, a 225 bed, non-profit nursing facility located near Como Park in St. Paul, has an opening for a salaried, 40 hour a week, Licensed Social Worker to work with our Memory Care and Long Term Care. The ideal candidate should be a licensed social worker (or on track to be one) with experience working in a MC/LTC and have a passion for working with the elderly and their family. Requirements
- Licensed social worker (or on track to be one)
- Experience working in a MC/LTC
- Passion for working with the elderly and their family
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work
- Social Work licensed in Minnesota
- Courteous, kind, trustworthy and engaging demeanor that is easily detected through telephone
- Strong computer, written, verbal and non-verbal skills with an ability to quickly adapt style to the individual consumer
- Strong ability to work within a dynamic, fast-paced environment that requires multi-tasking and prioritization of duties
Responsibilities
- Work with our Memory Care and Long Term Care.
- Assist older adults, those with disabilities, and working in an environment of diverse cultures, ethnicities and backgrounds.
- Think critically, analytically, independently and within a team with an innovative mindset & an inquiring spirit in order to achieve goals.
