About The Position

Join the inpatient Care Management team at Rice Memorial Hospital in the role of Social Worker. Our Social Workers at the Rice Memorial Hospital serve patients and families in our community and beyond by helping them during a challenging time in their lives. Enjoy the variety of cases they are presented with as there is always something new and different. Collaborate with other Social Workers to gain knowledge and experience and work with an interdisciplinary team of nurses, therapists, physicians, and dieticians. Social Workers have a designated patient caseload and will plan care to effectively meet the patient/family transitional needs including monitoring the length of stay and promoting community resources. We will provide supervision for new grads in-house or will reimburse up to $175/month for external supervision.

Requirements

• Current Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in Minnesota required.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of one year of experience as a Social Worker (not required).
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred (not required).
