About The Position

NewYork-Presbyterian has a long-standing commitment to the highest level of performance in social work practice, education, and research. The Ambulatory Care Network's Broadway Practice provides services such as triage, screening, referral, and crisis intervention to ensure patient mental well-being. The role involves seeing patients virtually and in person, handling scheduled appointments and walk-ins. Responsibilities include crisis intervention, safety assessments using evidence-based screening, concrete services, home care assistance and follow-up, psychosocial assessments, and referrals to Community-Based Organizations (CBOs). The position requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team and across the network of ambulatory care clinics. This is a Monday-Friday, 1199 union position with specific hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, except Thursdays 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM. All roles require on-site presence, and employees must live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.

Requirements

Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW)
New York State License as a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW)
