About The Position

We are seeking a Social Worker (MSW/LSW) to join our team! This position is for the school year, from Sept-June 2027 and can lead to full-time employment. The candidate will have experience working with children; experience with school/pediatric counseling is preferred. Supervision for clinical hours is provided as part of the job benefits.

Requirements

• Previous social work experience working with children and schools preferred
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Ability to build rapport with students
• Ability to build collaborative teamwork with coworkers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience with school/pediatric counseling

Responsibilities

• Provide individual counseling for students under supervision of LCSW
• Research local resources for at-risk families or families with Medicaid
• Communicate client updates to all relevant parties
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and programs, as needed
• Maintain accurate client documentation
