About The Position

As a Social Worker at DaVita, you will be a vital member of each patient’s core care team, supporting and advocating for patients undergoing dialysis. This role involves helping patients understand their rights and responsibilities, and guiding them in managing the physical, mental, emotional, and financial demands of End Stage Renal Disease. You will build meaningful and long-term relationships with patients and their families in an intimate outpatient setting. DaVita is a comprehensive kidney care provider, a clinical leader for over 20 years, focused on transforming care to improve the quality of life for patients globally. The company aims to increase equitable access to care for patients at every stage of their kidney health journey, from slowing disease progression to streamlining transplant processes and providing acute hospital care and home dialysis. Requirements

Meets all state required regulations to practice in the dialysis setting.
Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) required with a specialization in clinical practice.
Demonstrated knowledge of government and private insurance programs.
Basic computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Functional proficiency with DaVita specific applications within 60 days.
