About The Position
Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time Social Worker in a school setting in Bolingbrook, IL. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in student success by conducting evaluations, supporting IEP development, and collaborating with school teams. This is a great fit for both experienced school-based Social Workers and those transitioning into schools.
Requirements
- Active (or eligible) Illinois Professional Educator License with a School Social Worker endorsement
- Master’s Degree in School Social Work
- Strong communication and collaboration skills

- School-based experience preferred, not required
Responsibilities
- Provide school-based Social Worker services: evaluations, treatment, and consultation
- Conduct standardized assessments and write evaluation reports
- Develop and implement IEP goals aligned with student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Partner with teachers, SPED staff, and families to promote carryover
- Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
- Adapt materials and environments to improve student access
