About The Position
Responsible for counseling, assessing, and assisting individuals who are affected by illnesses or injuries, including rape, physical abuse, cancer, AIDS, and Alzheimer's, that may impair their ability to function normally.
Requirements
- MSW (Master of Social Work)
Responsibilities
- Provides psychosocial assessments to determine patient needs, makes appropriate referrals, provides counseling and supportive services to patients, makes referrals to the Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCP&P)
- Identifies and maintains funding sources which supports the Family Counseling & Guidance Program.
- Maintains statistical information and analysis of data, develops outcome and measures for program evaluation, program development and facilitation of program.
- Other relevant duties as assigned
