About The Position
A Psychiatric Social Worker is needed to provide comprehensive psychiatric and mental health services to patients in an intensive outpatient program (IOP) level of care. The role uses advanced clinical practice, principles, and theory. The position requires local travel between the Derby and Shelton sites. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with one or two evenings until 7 p.m.
Requirements
- Master’s-level clinician with a degree from an accredited school and specialization in psychiatric social work.
- LMSW required.
Nice To Haves
- LCSW preferred.
- Experience with group therapy preferred.
- Experience with co-occurring disorders preferred.
