The Social Worker provides case management and goal-oriented care planning for women accessing supports through the Women's Emergency Accommodation Centre (WEAC). Working with people who identify as women, aged 18 and older, who are experiencing homelessness or housing instability, the role uses a trauma-informed, Indigenous worldview and person-centered approach to assess needs, reduce barriers to wellness, and promote stability. As part of a multidisciplinary team, the Social Worker collaborates with staff and provides guidance, education, and support to Case Workers to help women achieve their self-identified goals.
