About The Position

Eyas Landing - Avondale is hiring a clinic-based Social Worker for its Merlin Day Academy in Chicago. The Academy is an integrated educational and therapeutic program for children ages 6–14 with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs. The Social Worker provides neurodiversity-affirming care that fosters children’s social skills, self-esteem, interpersonal relationships, and coping skills. The position works as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team focused on innovative, evidence-based therapeutic interventions and supporting children and families. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with no evenings or weekends. The annual salary is $60,000–$70,000, based on experience and qualifications; the total compensation package is valued at $74,000–$87,000. Requirements

Master's degree in social work.
Active Illinois Social Work License through IDFPR.
Experience providing social work services to children with autism and/or other neurodevelopmental differences.

Responsibilities

Provide individualized and therapeutic rotations.
Collaborate daily with occupational, physical, and speech therapists.
Document progress and communicate with families to support continuity of care.
