This position is located at Fort Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital's Social Work Services in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri is home of the U.S. Army Maneuver Support Center of Excellence, Army Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear School, Army Engineer School, and U.S. Army Military Police School. Fort Leonard Wood trains and educates nearly 90 thousand troops a year. The Fort also trains Marines, Airmen, Sailors, Coast Guardsmen and international students from allied nations. Requirements

• US Citizens
• Master's degree (or higher degree) in social work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
• One year of specialized experience which includes conducting behavioral health assessments; providing individual and group treatment; and working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.

Nice To Haves

• A clinical license to practice Social Work independently offered by a U.S. State, D.C., Commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Apply biopsychosocial evaluations to propose behavioral health interventions.
• Provide evidence-based treatment, including behavioral, cognitive, and motivational approaches.
• Provide primary care providers and staff regular and concise feedback on the status of referred patients, to include recommendations for team-based care.
• Implement psychoeducational classes to target high frequency diagnoses found in the primary care clinic.
• Document information in the electronic health record during patient encounters.
• Performs other duties as assigned
