About The Position

Care for our community, and your career. Master's degree in Social Work. Three years post-master's direct clinical social work experience. Well developed critical thinking skills. Basic knowledge and understanding of medical terminology. Ability to communicate effectively with medical professionals of all disciplines. Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Multi-tasking and task management essential. Basic computer knowledge. Training and experience must be in the scope of practice of the clinical specialty area of children, adolescent and/or adult patients, as well as family intervention. Proven mastery of advanced sociological, psychological, and mental health care related interventions and issues. Works autonomously, sets priorities and makes independent decisions of a complex nature. Demonstrates effective listening and comprehension skills. Initiates collaboration with others outside of service area. Demonstrates personal commitment to the principles, values and ethics of the organization. Models accountability for learning by sharing knowledge and learning from others. Builds effective working relationships. Expresses appreciation to others for their work. Treats others with respect. NYS LMSW license. Must maintain a collaborative agreement with a licensed physician in the field of practice of the Psychiatry with an active license in the State of New York.
