About The Position

Georgia Hospice Care is seeking passionate and committed hospice medical social workers to join their team. The role involves creating meaningful experiences for patients and their families by providing psychosocial evaluations, ongoing counsel, bereavement services, and community education outreach. The social worker will work in accordance with the plan of care to offer physical, emotional, and spiritual support during critical times. Requirements

A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care
MS degree in social work from an accredited school of social work approved by the Council of Social Work Education
Current state license as a social worker
2+ years of clinical work experience, preferably in healthcare or hospice
Reliable transportation
Ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently and lift at least 25 lbs and bear the weight of an average adult effectively
