About The Position
The Social Worker LMSW/LCSW PRN assists in the delivery of care to the psychiatric patient who has an acute behavioral disorder or an exacerbation of a chronic psychiatric illness. Completes a social history on all patients and participates in the setting of treatment goals. Keeps family members and referral sources abreast of the treatment process as permitted by patient consent. Assists all other program staff in maintaining a stable treatment milieu and assists in program development.
Requirements
- Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW) license in the state of Louisiana, or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Louisiana, or Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC/LPC) license in the state of Louisiana.
- American Heart Association BLS.
- CPI obtained in orientation period.
