Georgia Pines Community Service Board is a public, not-for-profit organization with an annual budget of $25M and a diverse workforce of 300 direct-care and support staff. Georgia Pines Decatur County Mental Health Outpatient Program is currently seeking a real leader, someone who has the passion, commitment, talent, and ability to work collaboratively with their peers to continue to advance the mission and vision of the organization. The selected applicant will have the pleasure of providing persons, families or vulnerable populations with the psychosocial support needed to cope with chronic, acute, or terminal illnesses and physical or developmental disabilities. Provides patient education and counseling, advises caregivers, and makes necessary referrals for other social services. Completes bio-psychosocial assessments, collaborates with consumers to complete individualized treatment plans, conducts individual, group, and family therapy sessions, makes appropriate referrals for needed services, responsible for pursuing licensure as a LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.
