About The Position

This is a Mental Health Counselor position. Responsibilities include providing emotional support, crisis intervention, counseling, information and referral, and referrals for financial assistance and supportive services to patients and families facing challenges related to treatment, illness, disability, or trauma. The role also involves case management, milieu management, completing psychosocial assessments, assisting in the development and re-evaluation of Treatment Plans, collaborating as a member of an interdisciplinary team, and coordinating discharge planning. Additionally, the position requires completing necessary documentation and maintaining clinical records for each client throughout their stay.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or other related field.
• Current registration as an intern with the Board, as appropriate to education and licensing requirements.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.

Nice To Haves

• Masters in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, or related field.
• Minimum one (1) year Inpatient or Outpatient Behavioral Health experience.
