Serve as an advocate, case manager and coordinator of services in situations involving child and family matters. This role involves interviewing clients, assessing needs, providing case management and intervention, managing cases of tribal members, collaborating with the tribal prosecutor's office, and attending court hearings. The Social Worker will monitor compliance with tribal, state, and federal guidelines, facilitate communication between the Choctaw Nation and outside agencies/courts to ensure safe homes for Choctaw children, and identify/refer resources for Choctaw families. Responsibilities include developing case plans, maintaining confidential client files, providing court testimony, and conducting home visits.
