The Social Work Coordinator provides a wide range of administrative support to the social worker and overall facility, including processing patients’ personal and insurance information. Work involves knowledge of patient rights and responsibility for creating an atmosphere which allows for the privacy, dignity, and well-being of all patients in a safe, secure environment. This individual cooperates and works together with all co-workers and possesses the ability to plan and complete job duties with applicable supervisory direction, including exercising job appropriate judgement. Use of tactful and appropriate communications in all work-related interactions is necessary to promote positive relations with patients, family members, guests, and co-workers.
