About The Position

Under the supervision of a licensed clinician, the Social Work Clinician I provides general casework services to members served and their natural supports. The role involves person-centered recovery planning and collaboration with other services and agencies. The position is with Telecare El Dorado County Psychiatric Health Facility, a 16-bed locked hospital facility providing acute inpatient psychiatric treatment to adults aged 18 and older diagnosed with serious mental illness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or psychology from an accredited college or university.
• Demonstrated experience with behavioral health services.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must hold CPR, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and First Aid certifications by the date of employment or within 60 days of employment, and maintain current certification throughout employment.
• Successful completion of applicable post-offer physical examination, two-step PPD test for tuberculosis, criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification.
• If driving is required for the position, a valid driver license, motor vehicle clearance, and proof of auto insurance are required at employment and must be maintained.
