About The Position
The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is seeking a Social Worker Clinical Supervisor for Cherry Hospital. This role involves providing administrative and clinical supervision to staff, monitoring compliance with standards, and contributing to program development and performance improvement. Requirements
- Master's degree in social work from an appropriately accredited institution.
- Two years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker as required by the NC Social Work Certification and Licensure Board.
- Licensure by the North Carolina Social Work Certification and Licensure Board as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

- Considerable knowledge of behavioral, psychosocial problems, adolescent and adult (geriatric) psychopathology and their treatment.
- Knowledge regarding therapy techniques and modalities that serve as best practices for the SPMI population.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and clinical supervision to staff for licensure purposes and clinical/problematic cases.
- Monitor to ensure compliance with standards, program development and performance improvement.
- Communicate effectively with management, community agencies, and lead a team of other clinicians.
