About The Position

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is seeking a Social Worker Clinical Supervisor for Cherry Hospital. This role involves providing administrative and clinical supervision to staff, monitoring compliance with standards, and contributing to program development and performance improvement. Requirements

Master's degree in social work from an appropriately accredited institution.
Two years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker as required by the NC Social Work Certification and Licensure Board.
Licensure by the North Carolina Social Work Certification and Licensure Board as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

Considerable knowledge of behavioral, psychosocial problems, adolescent and adult (geriatric) psychopathology and their treatment.
Knowledge regarding therapy techniques and modalities that serve as best practices for the SPMI population.

Responsibilities

Provide administrative and clinical supervision to staff for licensure purposes and clinical/problematic cases.
Monitor to ensure compliance with standards, program development and performance improvement.
Communicate effectively with management, community agencies, and lead a team of other clinicians.
