Requirements

  • Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice as a Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW) or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • A master's degree in social work
  • Four years of social services experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the clinical supervisor
  • Maintains an assigned caseload and provides individual therapy services.
  • Conducts groups as needed and completes intake assessments.
  • Provides crisis interventions and emergency counseling as needed.
  • Maintains the waiting list.
  • Provides education to clients and families related to substance use disorders.
  • Provides professional/clinical supervision to staff.
  • Manages work assignments and participates in treatment team staffing.
  • Works collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team and provides guidance to those that may require additional support and coordination of services.
  • May serve as a back-up to the Clinic Manager as needed.
  • May oversee and maintain daily clinical reporting processes as requested.
