About The Position

The Social Work Supervisor oversees clinical service delivery across HBCI and CFTSS programs, ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed care for children, youth, and families. HBCI delivers short-term, intensive crisis intervention to prevent hospitalization, while CFTSS provides ongoing, community-based supports to promote stability and functioning. The Supervisor is responsible for ensuring program quality, staff performance, and the integration of services across settings. This role provides clinical, administrative, and programmatic leadership across both the HBCI and CFTSS service lines, ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed, and evidence-based service delivery while supporting staff performance, documentation compliance, and community integration. The Supervisor maintains a dual-role function that establishes distinct expectations across HBCI and CFTSS, ensuring accountability for Staten Island–based crisis program oversight (HBCI) and citywide service delivery, group implementation, and community partnerships (CFTSS). The Supervisor may provide case coverage for short periods in both programs due to staffing needs such as Interventionist time off. Licensed Mental Health Professionals (LMHPs) are expected to be licensed by the New York State Education Department and operate within the practitioner’s scope of practice as defined in NYS law. These include, but are not limited to: Licensed Psychologists, Licensed Clinical/Masters Social Workers, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Licensed Mental Health Counselors, or Licensed Creative Arts Therapists.
