The UNC Horizons RISE Program is seeking a Community-Based Justice & Recovery Clinician. This role will provide trauma-informed behavioral health interventions for pregnant, parenting, and single women with substance use and trauma histories who are involved in the justice system in Chatham, Orange, and surrounding counties. The clinician will be the primary point of contact for justice-involved agencies, ensuring timely access to substance use disorder screening, assessment, and intervention services. As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the therapist will lead the initiation of community-based SUD and justice-involved comprehensive group programming for women and children with justice-involved histories and provide care coordination. Responsibilities include ensuring women meet the ASAM risk rating for residential, SACOT, and SAIOP services, completing necessary intake for SACOT and/or IOP services, and delivering evidence-based SUD and trauma care for women involved with child welfare and recovery courts. This position requires close collaboration with child welfare agencies, community-based SUD organizations, and Recovery Courts in NC. A valid driver's license is required. This is a time-limited position with an expected duration of two (2) years.
