About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Social Work Intern to support candidate interviews, follow-up activities, data collection, and reporting within the ProAbled project. This internship offers hands-on experience in social work while contributing to the empowerment and inclusion of people with disabilities or financial challenges and supporting their participation in society and the labor market. The intern will maintain accurate information and handle candidate data confidentially, professionally, and respectfully.

Requirements

• Be an undergraduate student at minimum; master's students are preferred.
• Have a university major in social work.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
• Have a positive social spirit and the ability to communicate and interact effectively with diverse groups.
• Demonstrate empathy, patience, and the ability to treat people from different backgrounds and circumstances with respect and professionalism.

Nice To Haves

• Be enrolled in a master's program.

Responsibilities

• Interview job seekers with physical or sensory disabilities and people facing financial challenges.
• Document information and prepare internal reports related to interviews and project activities.
• Follow up with candidates throughout the ProAbled project process.
• Collect, record, organize, and analyze project-related data and information.
• Maintain accurate information and protect candidate data confidentiality while handling it professionally and respectfully.
