As a Social Work Intern at the Healthy Brain Network (HBN), you will participate in and contribute to no-cost diagnostic evaluations. HBN is an initiative aimed at collecting imaging, genetic, and phenotypic data from 10,000 children and adolescents. These comprehensive psychological evaluations can provide diagnosis and support IEP advocacy and include measures of cognition, executive functioning, academic achievement, language, and social and emotional functioning. This internship is an opportunity for social work students to earn hours toward a master’s degree in social work, which are also eligible for social work licensure. The social work intern will be interfacing with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. A multitude of assessments will be administered as part of HBN, including the collection of medical and psychiatric information, and intake interviews. The Child Mind Institute is proud to be named a Great Place to Work-Certified company and is committed to creating an inclusive culture where all employees feel welcomed and valued.
