About The Position

The Social Work Clinical Manager will provide leadership and coaching to approximately 30 social workers in inpatient and outpatient pediatric units. This role involves developing goals, policies, and educational programs, mentoring and supporting the team, and managing daily operations. The manager will be a resource for resolving issues, overseeing staffing, and ensuring new employees are well-oriented. Key responsibilities include driving hiring, retention, onboarding, performance management, and employee development, in partnership with HR and leadership. The role also requires staying updated on regulatory requirements and accreditation standards, leading projects from start to finish, and ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in social work (MSW) required.
  • Licensed Independent Social Worker-Supervisor (LISW-S) in the State of Ohio required.
  • 3 years of experience required.
  • Previous experience with leadership and management competencies highly desired: project management, performance management, interviewing & training, disciplinary processes, et. al.
  • Previous experience in a health care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and coaching to approximately 30 social workers in inpatient and outpatient pediatric units.
  • Develop goals, policies, and educational programs for the social work team.
  • Mentor and support the social work team.
  • Serve as a resource for daily operations, resolving issues and overseeing staffing.
  • Ensure new employees are well-oriented.
  • Drive hiring, retention, onboarding, performance management, and employee development.
  • Partner with HR and leadership to build high-performing teams and support talent goals.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and requirements.
  • Stay updated on regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Work with other leaders to improve staff performance and compliance.
  • Lead projects from start to finish, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.

Benefits

  • Base pay starting at $91,520.00 annually as a salaried/exempt employee and can increase based on experience
