About The Position

Men in Blazers is the No. 1 Soccer Media Network in the U.S. With a wide reach and a diverse, vocal fan base, we engage with teams, players, celebrity fans, and brands we love, to share our passion for soccer across the nation. Using humor, emotion, intelligence, and to-the-minute pop cultural aptitude, we provide fans with unique content that breaks down the biggest stories in the game in ways that are authentic, meaningful, and compulsively entertaining. We are searching for a nimble Social Video Producer/Editor to help expand our VAMOS content vertical. You will be one of the primary architects for VAMOS visual identity, responsible for hunting, clipping, and polishing the moments that define conversations with our audience. The ideal candidate is someone who can both name the last five CONCACAF Champions Cup winners and knows how to optimize the first 3 seconds of a social video reel.

Requirements

• A proven track record of producing viral social video clips for a sports media house, newsroom, or creator-led brand.
• Native or professional-level fluency in Spanish and English. You must be able to write copy and edit audio for both markets with total cultural accuracy.
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop.
• A deep, obsessive passion for the game, specifically the narratives, rivalries, and culture of CONCACAF, CONMEBOL, Liga MX, and MLS. Equally, a deep understanding of Hispanic culture, specifically how it intersects with futbol.
• The ability to manage multiple projects at the same time, often times at different stages of the development lifecycle
• The soccer world doesn't sleep. You are ready and willing to work nights and weekends to cover the biggest matches in the global calendar.

Nice To Haves

• Mastery of After Effects (for kinetic typography/motion graphics) and CapCut (for native-feeling mobile edits) is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scour live match feeds (Liga MX, MLS, Champions League, etc.) and long-form VAMOS productions to identify and produce 15-to-60-second social clips that will resonate with our community.
• Partner with VAMOS talent and social team to ideate "social-first" segments during the pre-production phase of podcasts and shows.
• Own the end-to-end post-production process, knowing how to re-edit for each social medium, optimizing for vertical safe zones, high-retention pacing, and platform-native aesthetics.
• Produce and edit content that speaks natively to both English and Spanish-speaking audiences.
• Provide "live-response" editing during major soccer windows, having the capability to make high-impact edits on the fly and have publication-ready clips before the final whistle.
• Maintain a lightning-fast, organized archive of VAMOS content, ensuring the best "evergreen" moments are always ready for a throwback or trend-jack.
• Assist with all phases of video production, short-to-long form, from idea conception, into pre-production, and finally through post-production & delivery as needed.
