About The Position
Bishop McLaughlin Catholic High School, located in Pasco County, FL, is seeking an experienced, full-time Social Studies teacher for the 2026-2027 school year for our Freshman Seminar and Personal Finance courses.
Requirements
- Committed to the ministry, philosophy, and goals of Catholic education.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Science and Social Studies or related fields.
- Possess a valid Florida Department of Education Professional Certificate or Statement of Eligibility in Social Studies (grades 6-12).
- Demonstrate proficiency in instructional technology.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree.
- Teaching experience in all levels of high school Social Studies.
Responsibilities
- Teach Freshman Seminar and Personal Finance courses.
- Complete Level 2 background screening.
- Complete safe environment certification.
- Complete mandated diocesan training.
