About The Position

Roncalli High School is hiring a Social Studies Teacher for the second semester of the 2026–27 school year. The teacher will teach for a school term of four quarters, be available 15 minutes before the school day begins and 15 minutes after it ends, and teach a class schedule determined by the administration. The assignment may include emergency substitution duty, extracurricular activities, and other extra-duty assignments. The teacher will also contribute to faculty professional growth and meet the educational and professional requirements established by the State of Indiana and Roncalli High School.

Responsibilities

• Teach for a school term of four quarters.
• Be available 15 minutes before the start of the school day and 15 minutes after its end.
• Teach a class schedule determined by the administration.
• Perform emergency substitution duty, extracurricular activities, and extra-duty assignments as assigned.
• Contribute to faculty professional growth by attending and participating in faculty meetings, committee activities, in-service days, and other work aimed at improving instruction.
• Meet the educational and professional requirements set by the State of Indiana and Roncalli High School.
