About The Position

The Division of Child Protection Services impacts children and families' lives every day by assessing safety, providing intervention, and securing stability for children. If you are committed to helping children and families; have excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills; and are dedicated to achieving positive outcomes for children and families, this may be an opportunity for you to make a difference in a child's life. Duties include the transportation of parents and children; support services to family services specialists; and provision of services in the homes of families receiving intervention services.

Requirements

Valid driver's license
Ability to establish and maintain effective and collaborative working relationships
Ability to demonstrate compassion, respect, courtesy, and tact when interacting with others
Ability to utilize a computerized data and technology systems
Ability to prepare clear and concise documentation, reports, and correspondence that reflect relevant facts
Ability to actively listen, elicit needed information, and communicate information
Ability to organize time and resources to complete assignments and meet schedules and deadlines
Ability to operate a motor vehicle to transport children and family members
Ability to make appropriate and timely decisions in stressful situations and maintain objectivity
