This is a grant-funded position supporting the Specialized Telecommunications Assistance Program (STAP) and potentially other Texas Technology Access Program (TTAP) grants. The role involves providing outreach, training, case management, and support services to STAP applicants, certifiers, and stakeholders. Key duties include providing technical assistance, promptly responding to phone calls and emails, and performing research and administrative work related to research projects, training programs, and the business operations of a research organization. The position will also be responsible for the preliminary planning and scheduling of research projects, assigning projects to staff, supervising staff progress, overseeing research facilities, and administering pre-service and in-service training programs. Additionally, the role will oversee inquiry and consulting services provided to interest groups and may be responsible for certain administrative functions. Periodic travel within the State of Texas is required.
