About The Position

This position is responsible for teaching Fall and Spring Sociology face-to-face classes as available and assigned in accordance with course competencies and syllabi. Several sections available between the hours of 8AM-5PM. Develops and/or utilizes a variety of instructional strategies, techniques and delivery methods designed to meet the individual learning style of students. Must evaluate and report student performances and progress in courses in accordance with College and division policies and procedures. Must meet minimum faculty standards for hire and adhere to college policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Sociology
  • Degree in the related area with a minimum of 12 graduate credits in the discipline being taught.
  • Reside in Iowa, Nebraska, or South Dakota.

Nice To Haves

  • Teaching experience is preferred.
