Social Programmer BR Betting (Temporary)
About The Position
Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) Sports & Bleacher Report are seeking a talented Social Media Programmer to join their B/R Betting team. This role is responsible for producing content daily across B/R Betting's social channels, including Instagram, TikTok, X (Twitter), YouTube, and the Bleacher Report App. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the B/R Betting brand, current social platforms, and a passion for pop culture, sports, sports betting, and digital media. The role requires flexibility with work schedules, including nights and weekends, and the ability to handle last-minute deadlines.
Requirements
- A strong understanding of the B/R Betting brand.
- Deep understanding of current and emerging social platforms.
- Able to write clean copy and proofread.
- Passion for pop culture, sports, sports betting and digital media.
- Ability to work in a team environment with flexible work schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Able to handle last-minute or quick-turnaround deadlines.
Nice To Haves
- Being comfortable in front of the camera is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Identify and create (edit/package) content to program on social/app channels with a keen awareness of B/R Betting’s voice.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement original and curation content strategies.
- Curate content from Direct Messages on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X (Twitter).
- Monitor X, TikTok, and other social aggregation tools on a daily basis.
- Stay up-to-date on social media trends and best practices.
