About The Position

lotus823 is seeking a strategic, creative and client-focused Social & Paid Media Team Lead to join our growing agency team. This role is ideal for a digital marketer with hands-on experience managing integrated social media campaigns for multiple clients across both paid and organic channels. The ideal candidate brings expertise in social media strategy, Meta advertising, influencer marketing, and content development, along with a strong understanding of digital campaign performance and client communications. Understanding of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, conversion optimization and paid media. Experience with Google Ads is a plus. This individual will serve as a key day-to-day client contact, leading digital strategy execution while collaborating closely with internal creative, PR, and strategy teams to deliver measurable results. The role requires 3 to 5 years agency experience with strong communication, organization, and project management skills, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced agency environment and stay ahead of emerging digital trends. This is a full-time remote position with occasional in-office collaboration in Red Bank, NJ and periodic travel as needed. (NJ based preferred, but not required.)

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of digital marketing and social media experience, preferably within an agency environment
  • Proven experience managing both organic social media and paid Meta/TikTok campaigns for clients
  • Experience executing influencer marketing campaigns and managing influencer relationships
  • Strong understanding of social media analytics, KPIs, and performance reporting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized project management skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously
  • Collaborative mindset and strong client service, organizational and project management skills
  • Experience creating or contributing to social content strategy and campaign planning
  • Excellent writing and editing skills across multiple content formats
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines simultaneously

Nice To Haves

  • Meta Certified Digital Marketing Associate or similar Meta certification preferred
  • Tik Tok Certification preferred
  • Experience with Google Ads is a strong plus
  • Video editing capability a strong plus
  • Familiarity with tools such as Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Upfluence, Canva or similar platforms
  • Experience mentoring or managing junior team members preferred
  • May occasionally require participation in after-hours client calls; flexibility in scheduling is supported to help maintain work-life balance

Responsibilities

  • Act as the lead day-to-day contact for assigned client accounts, including overseeing strategic account activities, continuously optimizing campaigns and initiatives to achieve and exceed client goals
  • Manage day-to-day social media strategy and execution for client accounts across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and more
  • Create and manage organic social media calendars and content strategies
  • Plan, launch, optimize, and report on Meta/TikTok advertising campaigns
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide actionable insights and recommendations continuously reviewing engagement growth, lead generation, ROAS, conversion optimization, audience growth and campaign performance metrics
  • Coordinate influencer marketing campaigns, including outreach, contract negotiation, affiliate tracking, relationship management, deliverables, and reporting
  • Serve as a client-facing point of contact for assigned accounts, lead internal and client meetings including agendas, recaps and activity reporting
  • Participate in proposal development and presentations
  • Partner with creative teams to develop compelling platform-specific content, ad creative, and campaign messaging
  • Collaborate with creative, PR, and strategy teams to ensure integrated campaign execution
  • Stay current on platform updates, trends, and best practices in social media and digital marketing
  • Identify opportunities for expanding client partnerships through strategic recommendations, new platform initiatives and expanded digital services
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging platforms and marketing opportunities relevant to client industries
  • Mentor and support junior team members, delegate work appropriately and help guide team members in executing client deliverables
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute strategic ideas to strengthen client campaigns
  • Identify opportunities for expanding client partnerships and improving campaign performance
