About The Position

Backed by Platinum Equity and strategic investors, we are looking for new team members in various disciplines to help us build a world-class gaming platform on mobile and beyond! We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Media Strategy Manager to develop and implement social media strategies, manage online presence, create content, engage with players and analyze data to improve online visibility and brand effectiveness. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success developing comprehensive social media strategies that align with business goals and target audiences, as well as creating engaging content for various social media platforms.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in social media - agency (or client-side equivalent) as a Community Manager, Social Strategist, or Copywriter, preferably in gaming or entertainment
  • Appetite for all things digital and social, up to date on the latest platforms and technologies, as well as a desire to identify opportunities for strategic brand involvement in cultural trends
  • Hands on experience creating, filming, editing, and publishing platform- native social content (Reels, Shorts, Etc.). Comfortable appearing on camera and proficient with video editing tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, Adobe Express, or similar.
  • Have a strong visual eye and understanding of creating photo and video assets
  • Must be familiar with the gaming space and have an overall passion for pop culture
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must include portfolio or links to professional work

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of the WorldWinner’s strategy across various social platforms including, but not limited to: Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Kick, Discord, and Reddit
  • Identify opportunities for the brand to engage in wider cultural conversations and engagement trends
  • Plan and manage a balanced content calendar across awareness, conversion, and retention, leveraging platform native creative tailored to each objective
  • Stay plugged into the latest topics and trends on social
  • Support business priorities such as game launches, new features, and integrated marketing efforts
  • Manage UGC content creators, freelancers, and influencers via providing briefs, content direction, and feedback
  • Experiment with new content formats, challenges, and viral mechanics to drive engagement
  • Maintain up-to-date list of influencers in key areas and develop a shortlist of potential influencers in line with key topics to amplify our reach and engagement
  • Analyze and report on content and program performance data to drive continuous improvement and optimization
