About The Position

The Social Media Specialist will manage Aerotek, Actalent and Aston Carter's social media presence to serve our customers, grow our online community and drive brand engagement. The ideal candidate will be a highly creative, tech-savvy individual who can bring a consistent brand voice and personality to our social channels; create and guide engaging content; and use data to continuously improve performance.

Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Communications, Marketing or Business or equivalent experience
2-5 years of experience planning and creating social media content and conversations on behalf of a brand or organization
Strong collaborator; able to quickly track down answers for community questions and work with a diverse team to plan and execute social media plans
Customer–service oriented with a strong work ethic
Ability to think both analytically and creatively on projects
Outstanding interpersonal skills, including the ability to handle internal clients with tact and diplomacy and provide excellent customer service to clients and contractors
Strong, creative writer
Early adopter of new technologies and social networks
Ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity; individual ownership
Familiarity with social media monitoring systems, such as Hootsuite
Understanding of Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, and LinkedIn Analytics

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Facebook advertising, LinkedIn advertising and Twitter advertising
Knowledge and experience using Adobe Marketing Cloud (Omniture)

Responsibilities

Manage Aerotek, Actalent and Aston Carter social media channels, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube, in a consistent voice aligned with the overall brand strategy and business objectives
Create and produce original social content, including copy, partnering with the design team on graphics, and short-form video
Build and manage a social content calendar, working closely with the Content Manager, PR team and other internal department leads
Monitor social channels for engagement opportunities, respond to comments and direct messages and moderate content to maintain a positive community experience
Increase social followers and drive engagement through both organic and paid tactics
Track key metrics evaluating online success and create reports on social media activities to show progress and communicate actionable insights
Stay current on platform updates, algorithm changes, emerging social trends and competitor activity; and recommend adjustments to strategy accordingly
Act as a brand steward, ensuring all social and marketing materials align with brand voice, tone and visual guidelines
