Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communication (or related field).
  • Experience in social media and health care preferred
  • Certification in Google Analytics (or must be obtained within 12 months of hire)
  • FEMA Certification
  • FEMA ICS-100 For Health Care/Hospitals Certification (or must be obtained within 12 months of hire)
  • FEMA ICS-700 National Incident Management System Certification (or must be obtained within 12 months of hire)
  • Shows above and beyond attitude, dedication and work ethic to Mercyhealth
  • Good interpretive/analytical skills
  • Google Ads and Analytics
  • Facebook Ads
  • Experience with YouTube Ads
  • Excellent editing/writing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Typing, word processing/Macintosh skills

Responsibilities

  • Work with marketing specialists to strategize, plan and implement email and social media campaigns.
  • Curate and publish high-quality, engaging content that is customized for each social media platform. This will diversify our content to keep followers engaged on each platform.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that includes content calendars, posting schedules, and campaign plans.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitors to identify opportunities for our non-paid social presence.
  • Work with marketing specialists to design, build, and maintain our social media presence.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to develop and execute organic social media campaigns that run alongside paid campaigns to maximize the impact of digital spends.
  • Identify trends and insights, and recommend ways to optimize spend and performance based on the insights.
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies through digital marketing.
  • Engage in community conversations as the Mercyhealth brand, both on our social media pages and community pages.
  • Monitor online chatter about Mercyhealth and its initiatives and perception to be part of the conversation in real time.
  • Monitor competition and provide suggestions for improvement.
