About The Position

The Social Media Specialist II is responsible for executing and managing day-to-day social media operations while serving as a key point of coordination across Creative, Influencer, and Brand teams. This role oversees social workflows, calendar management, and real-time content capture, ensuring streamlined execution and strong alignment across cross-functional teams. The Specialist II ensures content is delivered efficiently, aligned to brand priorities, and optimized for performance across TikTok and Instagram.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in social media, content creation, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of TikTok and Instagram, including platform trends, formats, and best practices
  • Experience managing content calendars and project management tools such as Asana
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with creative, marketing, and talent teams
  • Strong video capture and editing skills, with experience creating short-form, social-first content
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage last-minute content opportunities
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Willingness and ability to travel for photoshoots, events, and athlete or influencer activations as needed
  • Availability to support occasional weekend publishing and real-time content needs outside standard working hours

Responsibilities

  • Supports social content planning and execution, ensuring alignment with brand priorities, campaign initiatives, and key storytelling moments
  • Owns Asana task management for social media, maintaining clear timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional accountability
  • Supports social calendar coordination, ensuring content is scheduled, prioritized, and ready for publishing across channels
  • Execute briefing of social content needs to the Creative team, ensuring clarity of deliverables, timelines, and platform requirements
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between Social and Creative teams for all content-related questions and updates
  • Partner with Creative to ensure social-first considerations are integrated into broader campaign development
  • Own daily weekday publishing across TikTok and Instagram
  • Manage every-other-weekend publishing cadence
  • Ensure all content is scheduled accurately and adheres to platform-specific best practices
  • Capture and edit short-form, TikTok-first content during events, photoshoots, and in-the-moment opportunities
  • Operate effectively in fast-paced, real-time environments, including last-minute athlete or influencer visits to HQ
  • Deliver timely, on-brand content that aligns with current trends and brand voice
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for Influencer and Athlete teams regarding social content needs
  • Manage inbound event and content requests, integrating them into the social calendar and ensuring execution
  • Facilitate communication across Social, Creative, Influencer, and Brand teams to ensure alignment and efficiency
  • Monitor social trends, platform updates, and cultural moments, proactively identifying relevant opportunities for the brand
  • Surface timely recommendations to inform content development and maintain platform relevance
