About The Position

This is an unpaid volunteer position for individuals seeking flexible hours and an opportunity to gain valuable work experience while supporting ARO's mission to help victims of abuse. The role involves working in a virtual environment and interacting with others who share a passion for making a difference. It offers opportunities for skill development, cross-training, leadership, mentoring, and career growth within the organization.

Requirements

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Extremely reliable and dependable as it relates to a quick turnaround time.
Must be available to volunteer 8-10 hours a week.

Nice To Haves

Some background using Canva and Asana preferred.

Responsibilities

Review a broad variety of professional documents such as content, videos, infographics, articles, and other publications for the social media team.
Follow progress on the content calendar to ensure all steps are completed within a timely manner (will require checking Asana and Slack throughout the day) to review and reassign tasks to team members.
Review graphics in Canva to ensure all ARO and Norm Therapy® requirements are met.
Edit content according to specifications for style, tone, and length.
Ensure proper use of hashtags are included in each post.
Ensure social media content meets style, formatting, and general quality standards.
Attends monthly company meeting.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
