About The Position

This is an unpaid volunteer position where the Social Media Quality Assurance Specialist will review a broad variety of professional documents such as content, videos, infographics, articles, and other publications for the social media team. The role involves following progress on the content calendar to ensure all steps are completed within a timely manner, which will require checking Asana and Slack throughout the day to review and reassign tasks to team members. The specialist will also review graphics in Canva to ensure all ARO and Norm Therapy® requirements are met, edit content according to specifications for style, tone, and length, and ensure proper use of hashtags are included in each post. The goal is to ensure social media content meets style, formatting, and general quality standards. The role also requires attending monthly company meetings and performing other related duties as assigned. This role is best suited for individuals seeking a longer-term volunteer opportunity (12+ months preferred) and requires availability of 8-10 hours per week.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Extremely reliable and dependable as it relates to a quick turnaround time.
  • Must be available to volunteer 8-10 hours a week.
