About The Position

We’re looking for a Social Media Designer who lives at the intersection of design craft and digital culture. This is an individual contributor role for someone who wants to make beautiful, scroll-stopping content. You’ll be embedded in our social and marketing team, designing assets that show the world what SPREEAI looks like: across our feeds, our campaigns, and our brand collateral. If you have a sharp eye, move fast, and care deeply about how things look and feel, this role is for you.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Media, or a related field — or equivalent portfolio experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience in digital design, with a portfolio that includes social media content and marketing assets.
  • Proficiency with creative tools — Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, and Claude Design, and Canva are core.
  • Fluency in Figma for design systems, templates, and collaborative asset management.
  • Strong motion graphics skills — you can animate type, build transitions, and add visual energy to video content.
  • Sharp design sensibility and a strong grasp of color, layout, and visual hierarchy.
  • Understanding of digital specs and export requirements across social platforms (aspect ratios, file formats, resolution).
  • A strong visual eye with an instinct for what feels elevated, on-trend, and distinctly SPREEAI.
  • Genuinely plugged into digital culture, fashion, and visual trends — you notice what’s working on the internet before it becomes obvious.
  • Detail-obsessed — you notice the misaligned pixel, the wrong font weight, the off-brand color.
  • Fast and self-directed — you can take a brief and execute without hand-holding, managing your own priorities in a high-output environment.
  • Collaborative at heart — you work well with social, marketing, and brand teams and can translate creative direction into polished output.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience designing for fashion, lifestyle, beauty, or tech brands is a strong plus.
  • Experience with AI image tools (Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, or similar) for concept exploration and asset generation.
  • Basic photography skills or comfort assisting on social shoots.
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS for basic email or web asset production.
  • A personal account, portfolio site, or design presence that shows your visual point of view.

Responsibilities

  • Design platform-native content for Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, X, and Threads — including static posts, carousels, Stories, and Reels covers.
  • Create motion graphics, text animations, and video overlays that make our short-form content impossible to scroll past.
  • Adapt a single asset into platform-specific formats — resizing, reformatting, and optimizing for each channel without losing visual quality.
  • Support the social team’s content calendar with a reliable pipeline of designed assets, delivered on time and on brand.
  • Stay plugged into visual trends across TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest, bringing fresh design ideas that fit our aesthetic and feel culturally current.
  • Concept, design, and edit short-form video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts — bringing the SPREEAI brand to life in formats built for each platform.
  • Design static posts, carousels, Stories, and Reels covers that are visually cohesive and scroll-stopping across all social channels.
  • Add motion graphics, text animations, and visual overlays that give our video content energy and a distinct brand signature.
  • Design digital marketing assets including email headers, paid ad creatives, landing page graphics, and campaign visuals.
  • Produce presentation decks and partner-facing materials that reflect SPREEAI's elevated brand aesthetic.
  • Assist with on-set production for social shoots — helping frame shots, manage props, and ensure the final footage is edit-ready.
  • Edit and retouch photo and video assets for use across social and marketing channels.
  • Organize and manage a shared asset library — keeping files, exports, and versions clean and easy to find.
