About The Position

pītusa (pronounced pee-tu-sah) was founded in 2010 with a simple mission: to create high-quality, flattering apparel that evokes happiness. Inspired by global cultures and a "made to chill" philosophy, our brand is female-led and committed to ethical production. From our signature vibrant trims to our luxurious fabrics, pītusa is a celebration of comfort, color, and effortless style. We are looking for a highly creative and strategic Social Media Manager to own our digital presence across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and beyond. As a remote member of our team, you will be the voice of pītusa—building our community, telling our ethical production story, and turning followers into lifelong fans.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience managing social media for a fashion, lifestyle, or consumer brand.
  • Proven track record of growing social media accounts (portfolio or case studies required).
  • Excellent written English with a "punchy," engaging tone.
  • Proficiency in tools like Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar editing apps.
  • Ability to thrive in a remote environment, be highly organized, meet deadlines without reminders, and communicate clearly across time zones.
  • Value ethical production and diverse representation.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with social scheduling tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a monthly content calendar that aligns with new collection launches, seasonal trends, and brand milestones.
  • Produce high-energy, visually stunning content (Reels, TikToks, Carousels, and Stories) that captures the "pītusa aesthetic."
  • Manage daily interactions; respond to DMs/comments with warmth and wit to foster a loyal, inclusive community.
  • Identify and outreach to "pītusa girls"—influencers and creators who embody our lighthearted, global spirit—to coordinate gifted and paid collaborations.
  • Track engagement, growth, and conversion metrics to report on what’s working and pivot strategy based on data.
  • Ensure all copy and visuals are 100% "on-brand"—vibrant, empowering, and effortless.
